Communication in the Built Environment

The communications unit was focused on communicating ideas and objects through the use of materials. The final project was about ‘expanding’ your personal bedroom.
My concept was to expand and explode the walls of my room like a balloon. Due to the nature of that design being very organic, I modelled it using clear acrylic and using heat to manipulate it. Further etching was added to play with light.
