Gallery Tower

This project required an Art Gallery with two display spaces that were vertically connected with an exploration of how to capture, frame and filter light. I undertook a light study to experiment with different openings to explore how light was able to be manipulated, this was done by carving plaster. The final design includes side entries, allowing for a personal journey up towards an art gallery while the large middle hall hosted a space for reflection. The spotlight further gives a sense of time, as the light travels down.
